As you’re reading this…
Your child may be having difficulty managing or expressing big emotions, following instructions, building relationships, or they may become physical or throw things or scream. They may have difficulty meeting traditional expectations in mainstream schooling or with behaving in a way that others expect of them. They might be worried and anxious often or have a low mood and low self-confidence and not be able to do the things they want or need to do.
You may be struggling with the overwhelm with your child’s needs, emotions or challenging behaviours, feeling like you’re failing as a parent or like you don’t know how to help your child. You may feel like you’re not the parent you want to be and be worried about continuing intergenerational patterns in your family.
You are not alone, and it doesn’t have to be this way.
ContactAt Conscious & Connected, support is provided for children and young people from 0-18 years old, and their parents, with challenges relating to social, emotional and mental health and behaviour. Your child and family are unique and deserve individualised support that meets theirs and your needs, which is why we offer a range of supports for you and your family. This includes child and parent therapy sessions, and courses and resources.
How can I help?
Many of the children and young people who come to see me with their families are experiencing a range of challenges with emotional regulation, social skills, behaviour, anxiousness, low mood, sleep, routines, school engagement, and attachment/relationships.
They may be neurodivergent (autistic and ADHDer) or have diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit-Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional-Defiance Disorder (ODD), Conduct Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, developmental trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Your child does not need a diagnosis to access services.

Parents & Caregivers...
Being a parent can be overwhelming, challenging and frustrating, therefore my aim is to not only support your child, but you too. YOU are your child’s main support; a lighthouse in the stormy sea. Supporting you is supporting your child as when you feel your best and have the knowledge and tools to meet your child’s needs, you can be their support, their advocate and their teacher outside of therapy sessions. I have some exciting new offerings (courses and resources) coming, which will make education, knowledge and tools more accessible for parents. Sign up to our email list to stay up to date.
